Khaled El Ghandour, the former Zamalek star, stated that the Clubs Association is adamant about holding the Pyramids vs. Ceramica Cleopatra match in the league on the scheduled date of May 28.

El Ghandour added during the "Stadium of the Axis" program: "A source in the association confirmed to us, in exclusive statements, that the Pyramids vs. Ceramica Cleopatra match will not be postponed, as it will take place at the same time as the Al Ahly vs. Farco match, in order to achieve the principle of equal opportunities among the clubs."

Regarding the inquiry about the possibility of postponing the two matches to the beginning of June, he said: "The association believes that Al Ahly will travel to the Club World Cup at the beginning of next month, and it is impossible to postpone the two matches, especially since Pyramids is tied to the Egypt Cup final against Zamalek on the 5th of the same month."

He continued: "A source in the association confirmed to us that they are not against Pyramids, and that the schedule conditions have been known to all clubs since the beginning of the season, and that the regulations regarding the match dates for teams participating in African competitions were signed by Pyramids officials."
