Rivero's Stance on the Continuation of Al Ahly's Goalkeeper Coach
Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed Coach Jose Rivero's rejection of Michel Yancon remaining in his position as goalkeeper coach.
Al-Ghandour stated on the program "Stadium Al-Mahwar" that Rivero returned to his country to settle some personal matters before returning to Cairo to officially take over coaching Al Ahly.
He added that the Spanish coach rejected Yancon's continuation in the last meeting, emphasizing the necessity of changing him to inject new blood into the team.
He continued that Al Ahly's management wishes for Yancon to remain in his position, but Rivero refuses the matter.
