Highlights of Al-Qasim Coach Ayman Al-Hakeem's Comments After the Loss to Zakho
Al-Qasim coach Ayman Al-Hakeem expressed his regret over the loss his team suffered against Zakho with a score of 2-0, confirming that the early red card significantly affected the course of the match and disrupted the team's tactical plans.
Al-Hakeem said in statements after the match:
"The match started in a balanced manner, but the red card in the 13th minute changed everything. We played with a numerical disadvantage for more than 75 minutes, which is difficult against an organized and strong team like Zakho."
He added:
"Despite the disadvantage, we tried to maintain our defensive balance as much as possible, but the continuous pressure from Zakho, especially in the last minutes of the first half, led to two quick goals that practically killed the match."
Al-Hakeem continued:
"I do not hold the players fully responsible, as the circumstances were against us from the beginning, especially since the red card came very early. The team did what it could, but the small details decided the match."
The Syrian coach also pointed out the importance of preparing the team for the remainder of the season, saying:
"There is still a lot in the season, and we will try to regain our balance in the matches."
