Al-Najaf achieved an important victory over their guest Al-Kahrabaa with a score of (2-0) in the match held at Al-Najaf International Stadium as part of the 34th round of the Iraqi Stars League.

Al-Najaf entered the match with an organized offensive approach, dominating the proceedings early in the first half, and succeeded in translating this superiority through their striker Younis Hamoud, who opened the scoring in the (32nd) minute after a quick attack that exploited the poor positioning of Al-Kahrabaa's defense and struck a precise shot that found the net, announcing the home team's lead.
