Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta made statements to the press after the victory over Newcastle 1-0 in the 37th round of the Premier League.

The coach said in his remarks: "We were much better in the second half, we presented a game that weakened us much more than the first half. Overall, it was a good evening."

About Declan Rice: "He was exceptional, especially in the second half of the season. He won matches, scored goals, and his statistics are better than last season, and he still has plenty of room for improvement."

About the season in general: "We had a clear dream of lifting the trophy this season for our fans. Unfortunately, we did not achieve it, considering the circumstances we went through. But we must ensure that the pursuit of the dream does not confuse us, but rather allows us to see all the wonderful achievements this team has made."

He concluded: "I see every day the problems we faced, and the issues we encountered throughout the season. Today we faced three more problems. The situation has continued like this for ten months, not weeks, but we have not collapsed yet - the mentality is strong and will not collapse."
