Recently, global newspapers linked the name of Al-Ettifaq with Algerian player Ryan Cherki from French club Lyon for a potential transfer to their squad next season.

According to Saudi sources, Al-Ettifaq is not interested in signing Ryan Cherki during this summer transfer period.

Reports indicated that Al-Ettifaq has laid out a plan to restructure its foreign players' list in line with the aspirations for the upcoming phase.

There is an intention within Al-Ettifaq to part ways with the duo Vitinho and Karl Toko Ekambi in the near future and to release their services.
