Officially.. Al-Ettifaq Announces Departure of Ahmed Hassan Kouka at End of Season

Monday 01-06-2026
Al-Ettifaq Club of Saudi Arabia has closed the chapter on the journey of the Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Kouka with the team, after officially announcing his departure at the end of the current season, due to the expiration of the contract between the two parties and the failure to reach an agreement regarding his continuation in the upcoming phase.

The officials at Al-Ettifaq decided not to renew the contract of the Egyptian striker, being content with the period he spent with the team since he joined at the beginning of last season, when he arrived at the club in a free transfer deal to strengthen the front line.

Kouka had a short stint with Al-Ettifaq, participating in 15 matches across various local competitions, with a total of 722 minutes of play, during which he managed to score two goals, one in the Saudi Roshn League and another in the King’s Cup of Champions.

Despite the extensive experience of the Egyptian international, the club's management preferred not to extend the contract, as part of their technical plans for preparing for the new season and reorganizing the team’s ranks.

Kouka leaves Al-Ettifaq after a season in which the team finished seventh in the Saudi Roshn League standings with 50 points, a position that secured the club's participation in the Gulf Clubs Champions League in the upcoming season.

Thus, the Egyptian striker opens a new chapter in his professional career after ending his journey with Al-Ettifaq, awaiting the determination of his next destination during the upcoming transfer period.
