Al-Ettifaq Club received unfortunate news before the start of the new season, as they lost the services of their Slovakian goalkeeper Marek Rodak for a considerable period due to an injury he sustained while on international duty.

The club revealed that the goalkeeper suffered a fracture in the wrist bones while with the Slovakian national team, which required prompt medical intervention to prevent the injury from worsening.

The medical examinations that the player underwent revealed the extent of the injury accurately, and doctors recommended urgent surgery to ensure proper recovery.

Rudak successfully underwent surgery, with close monitoring by the medical team, which developed a special treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for his gradual return to training.

The official statement of the agreement confirmed that the goalkeeper's absence will range between 8 to 10 weeks, according to the current medical estimates for the treatment and rehabilitation phase.

The absence of Rodak poses a challenge for the coaching staff, especially since they might lose him during part of the preparation period and some important commitments at the start of the season.

The club concluded its statement by sending a message of support to the Slovak goalkeeper, wishing him a full recovery and a swift return to protect the team's goal in upcoming competitions.
