The Sharjah Emirati Club achieved a historic accomplishment by winning the AFC Champions League 2 title for the first time in its history, after an exciting victory over Lion City Singapore with a score of 2-1 in the final match held at the Bishan National Stadium in Singapore.

Despite the numerous opportunities available to Sharjah throughout the match, the team suffered from poor offensive luck before the match was decided in the crucial moments.

Tunisian player Firas Belarbi scored the first goal for Sharjah in the 74th minute, but Lion City equalized in the first minute of injury time through Maxim Lestien, before Marcus Meloni snatched the winning and crowning goal in the final moments, granting Sharjah the title.

With this victory, Sharjah enters the record of Asian champions and achieves a significant continental achievement that highlights the development of Emirati football.
