Guardiola said: "We want to win for our fans, and I thank them for coming to London. Winning is always better than losing, and last year we played the final after winning the league for the fourth consecutive time; perhaps we weren't at our best focus then, but now we return to competition after a year, and our goal is to achieve the title."

Regarding the condition of midfielder Rodri, the Spanish coach commented: "His condition is much better now, and I will talk to the doctors today; when he is 100% ready, he will definitely start."
