Al-Fateh Coach: We Will Play Against Al-Hilal in Front of Our Fans and Aim for a Positive Result
José Gomes, the coach of Al-Fateh, warned about the danger of Al-Hilal and confirmed that the leader is still a contender for the Roshan League title.
Al-Hilal will meet Al-Fateh next Friday in the 32nd round of the Saudi Roshan League.
Gomes said in the pre-match press conference: "Fear causes defeat, and my role is to help the players give their best... but we will not open the field for Al-Hilal."
He added: "Mathematically, Al-Hilal is still seeking to win the league title regardless of the match against Al-Ittihad; we will play the match in front of our fans and aim for a good result."
Gomes continued: "It is true that Al-Hilal is not at the top, but they have 3 players who scored 25 goals, and the attacking strength of the opponent is very high."
Regarding the loss in the first round against Al-Hilal with a record score of "9-0", Gomes said: "Every match has its circumstances, but I cannot forget that encounter."
He added: "Our situation is critical, and it is essential to fight for points, but at the same time, we will not risk opening the field."
