In a special talk before the anticipated match against Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Karbala coach Abbas Atiyah confirmed that his team is ready to deliver a great match despite all the difficult circumstances they are going through, noting that the players have the motivation to respond to criticisms and fight for dignity and survival.

He said: "We are facing a big and historic team like Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, and this type of match requires high concentration and great tactical discipline. We fully understand the importance of the match, and we will do everything we can to achieve a positive result."

He added: "We have gone through a very difficult season, both in terms of administrative issues and the sanctions that have prevented the team from making contracts, which has greatly affected the balance within the group, but now there is no time for excuses."

He continued: "The players know very well that this match is an opportunity to prove they deserve to represent Karbala, and the coaching staff trusts their abilities despite the young age of some and their lack of experience, but they possess a high fighting spirit."

He completed: "Al-Jawiya is a team with strong elements and is fighting to improve its position, but we will play on our home ground, in front of our fans, and we will fight until the last minute. Nothing is impossible in football if the spirit is present."

He concluded: "My message to the Karbala fans: We know how much you love and care for the team, and we also know the pain you have experienced throughout the season, but we promise you that we will not give up and we will fight with everything we have in the upcoming matches, starting with the match against Al-Jawiya."
