Al-Karma Defeats Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya with a Clean 3-0 in the League

Al-Karma Club achieved a significant victory over its guest Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya with three unanswered goals in the match held this Sunday evening at the Golan Stadium as part of the 34th round of the Iraqi Stars League.

The victory granted Al-Karma three valuable points, strengthening its position in sixth place and halting the 'Hawks' advance towards an early championship decision.

The home team entered the confrontation with clear strength, and Sajad Jassim succeeded in giving Al-Karma an early lead in the first minute, a goal that disrupted the visitors' calculations and gave the hosts an early psychological advantage.

Al-Karma did not retreat after the goal and continued its offensive pressure, with Amouri Faisal adding the second goal in the 24th minute, before Jameel Al-Yahmadi concluded the first half's trio in the 45+3 minute, ending the first half with overwhelming superiority.

With the start of the second half, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's troubles increased after their striker Omar Amino received a red card in the 48th minute following a second warning, reducing the team's offensive options early on.

Matters became more complicated when the referee issued a direct red card to Muhannad Abu Taha in the 68th minute, leaving the 'Hawks' to complete the match with nine players, finding themselves unable to come back in the score.

The loss stopped Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's tally at 77 points, keeping them at the top of the standings with a 7-point lead over Al-Shorta with three rounds remaining. The gap remains comfortable, but the heavy defeat brought some excitement back to the title race and gave Al-Shorta a chance to narrow the gap in the upcoming rounds.

In contrast, Al-Karma raised its tally to 57 points in sixth place, confirming that it is one of the most developed teams of the season and capable of competing with the top teams.
