Ahead of the important match against Karbala in Round 33 of the Iraqi Stars League, Air Force coach Ali Abdul Jabbar spoke about the team's reality and the difficult circumstances it is facing, emphasizing that the upcoming match represents a true test of the players' determination to overcome the crisis and regain balance.

He said: "Since I took on the task, it was clear to me that the team suffers from previous accumulations, whether on a technical level or in terms of administrative stability. But despite everything, we have a great name and a history that does not allow us to retreat."

He added: "The Karbala match represents an important turning point for us; we must show the character of a champion team on the field, and I know very well that the Falcons fans are waiting for a real response from the players, so we work daily to motivate them psychologically and tactically."

He continued: "Karbala is an opponent not to be underestimated despite its low position in the standings, and it plays on its home ground among its fans, and has ambitions for survival, which is why we will approach the match with seriousness, without looking at the standings."

He went on: "We are suffering from significant absences, but this is not an excuse. We have alternatives, and we will play with a balanced approach between caution and discipline, while seeking victory, because every point now is very important in our journey."

He concluded: "My message to the Air Force fans: I know that you are angry about the recent results, but trust that we will not let you down. We are going through a difficult period, but it will not last, and we will work with all our energy to restore the Air Force name to the place it deserves."
