Masoud Miral: We Deserved More Against Al-Students and We Will Benefit from the Postponed Matches in the Upcoming Rounds
Duhok Club coach Masoud Miral expressed his relative satisfaction with his team's performance during the goalless draw against Al-Students in the postponed match from round 18, confirming that his team played a great match tactically but was unlucky in capitalizing on some opportunities that came their way.
He said: "We played a strong match against a well-organized opponent who is going through an excellent period. I wished we could have secured the win because we created real chances, but this is football; sometimes good performance alone is not enough to achieve victory."
He added: "Al-Students is a tough team, especially when playing at home and in front of their fans. The players executed the game plan well, and we were tactically disciplined, which I take pride in today."
He continued: "We still have very important postponed matches ahead, and we must treat each one as if it were a final. Our schedule is busy, but we have a team capable of handling the pressure and performing well in the upcoming rounds."
He concluded: "I am proud of the players and this performance against a team of Al-Students' caliber. We just need a bit more focus in the final touch, and if we were more accurate in front of the goal, we would have come away with all the points."
He added: "We will not stop here; we will continue to work and focus, and we have a clear ambition to compete for the top positions. I have great confidence in the team, and we will invest our postponed matches to improve our position in the standings."
