Shobir said via ON Sport FM: "The Egyptian national team will participate in the Arab Cup with players from the Egyptian league and some professional players who are not selected by Hossam Hassan, such as Ahmed Hassan Kahraba and Wassem Morsi."
He added that the Egyptian team will participate in the tournament with a 'B' team.
He continued: "Hossam Hassan will not be the coach of the Egyptian national team in this tournament, as a new coaching staff will be selected."
