
Officially: Al-Hussein Irbid Champions of the Jordanian League
Al-Hussein Irbid team was crowned champions of the Jordanian Professional Football League for the 2024/2025 season, after their significant victory over Shabab Al-Ordon with a score of 4/1, in the match held on Saturday evening at the Amman International Stadium, as part of the twenty-second and final round of the competition.
With this victory, Al-Hussein Irbid raised their points tally to 53, surpassing Al-Wahdat by one point, who drew with Al-Ramtha at King Abdullah II Stadium in Qweismeh, settling for second place with 52 points.
With the referee blowing the final whistle, the celebrations erupted among Al-Hussein Irbid fans, who gathered in the streets and marched in celebratory parades, as well as heading to the club headquarters to celebrate their second consecutive title.
On the other hand, the end of the season saw four clubs relegated to the first division, namely Al-Sarih, Shabab Al-Aqaba, Ma'an, and Mughayer Al-Sarhan, officially closing the curtain on a season full of competition and excitement in the Jordanian Professional League.
