The coach of Al-Student Club, Bassem Qassem, expressed his dissatisfaction with the draw result that his team ended with against Al-Nafit, in the matches of the twenty-ninth round of the Iraqi Stars League, confirming that his team was the better side throughout both halves, and that the three points were within reach.

Qassem stated in his remarks after the match that his players delivered a great performance in terms of spreading, pressing, and collective movement, pointing out that the team wasted several clear chances in front of the goal, which could have decided the match early.

He added that the team was not lucky at certain moments of the match, along with rushing to finish attacks, which affected the final result, despite the clear control over the course of play.

The Al-Student coach emphasized that the team still has a lot to offer in the upcoming rounds, asserting that he has great confidence in his players, and that he will work to quickly address mistakes in order to return to the path of victories.
