Islam Al-Shater: Koller Must Continue with Al-Ahly
Islam Al-Shater, the former star of Al-Ahly, believes it is essential to keep Marcel Koller in his position as the head coach of Al-Ahly.
Al-Shater said during the "Game and Another" program on "Mega FM": "I was angry with Koller’s style of play, but I was 100% sure that Koller would continue."
He added: "In my opinion, Marcel Koller must continue with Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup, even if they lose the African Champions League."
Islam Al-Shater further stated: "If Koller leaves, even if Al-Ahly hires Mourinho, he will not be able to succeed in the Club World Cup."
He continued: "Evaluating Koller is the best solution, and we all saw how the performance improved after the sessions and discussions with him, despite the difficulty of the match."
