Niko Kovac, the head coach of Borussia Dortmund, spoke about the upcoming match against Barcelona in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, which will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at Signal Iduna Park at 9 PM Cairo time.

Borussia Dortmund lost the first leg against Barcelona with a heavy score of 4-0 at Montjuïc Stadium. Here are Kovac's key statements before the match:

Kovac said: "We rested Emre Can in training today due to his ongoing struggles with muscle problems in the adductor area despite the pain. He continues to endure, and he may not participate in tomorrow's match, but we will assess his condition after training."

He added: "We are fully aware of the difficulty of the situation, but we aim to show a completely different face in this match compared to the first leg. We aim to win, and of course, miracles happen in football, but we also know that Barcelona has not lost any official match this year."

He continued: "We need to be present from the first minute against Barcelona, and we need to earn the support of our fans. This will only happen through our effort, performance, and enthusiasm on the field."

He went on: "Felix Nmecha has developed a lot as a player and as a person. He has all the qualities to handle the ball excellently, possesses great dynamism, and is a complete player. After his long injury, he needs some time to fully regain his fitness."

He concluded his statements by saying: "If you do not perform better than 100%, it will be impossible to win against teams like Barcelona or Bayern Munich. We need to show a different spirit, strong physical readiness, and work as one team. We must be ready to take advantage of the few opportunities we will get."
