Müller Angry: Is This My Retirement Party or the Champions League Quarter-Finals?

German star Thomas Müller showed an unusual side of his personality after Bayern Munich's 2-1 loss to Inter Milan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, in a match held at the Allianz Arena.

The television interview conducted with Müller displayed clear tension, as the player appeared angry about the way questions were posed, especially after sitting on the bench and being brought on late in the 74th minute.

At the beginning of the match, a journalist asked Müller, saying: "Would coach Thomas Müller have started player Müller from the beginning, unlike what Vincent Kompany did?".

Müller replied with a sarcastic smile: "That's a question I won't fall into the trap of. As long as the second leg hasn't been played yet, there's no room for side battles, but it's a good question nonetheless."

However, the tension peaked when the journalist referenced a scene from a documentary about Müller's career, saying: "In the documentary, you talked about moments like these, the fans chant your name, you come on and score, and the stadium shakes."

Müller interrupted the conversation angrily, saying: "Is this a retirement party for me? Or are we in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals? I want to focus on analyzing the match, not talking about farewells."

When the journalist tried to calm the atmosphere and asked about his feelings after participating, Müller sharply replied: "I'm not on a farewell tour; I'm a professional player, and I'm still fighting on the pitch."

At the end of the interview, Müller attempted to lighten the mood with an angry-tinged joke, telling the journalist: "If you're looking for the reason for my mood here, complain to Inter; they're the reason I'm upset right now."
