Lautaro said: "I won a challenge in the midfield, then I saw the space in front of me, Carlos ran into it, and fortunately, Marcos passed the ball to me."

He continued: "At first, I intended to shoot with my left foot, but the number of players in front of me made me change my mind, and I chose to shoot with my other foot from the outside, fortunately, the ball went into the net and gave us the lead."

Martinez emphasized that the team needed this victory after the disappointing draw against Parma in the Italian league, saying: "We talked a lot after the draw against Parma, we want to improve, and if we want to win, we have to leave what happened behind us and focus on the upcoming challenges."
