Kompany: No Excuses Despite Absences, Ready to Face Inter

Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, emphasized the challenging circumstances the team is facing due to multiple injuries, ahead of the anticipated match against Inter Milan in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening at the Allianz Arena.

Regarding the departure of Thomas Müller, Kompany said: "We must respect the club's decision not to renew Thomas Müller's contract. I know the story is significant, especially since he is a legend of the club, but my role as a coach is to focus solely on the next match, and all my attention is directed towards the game against Inter Milan."

On the injuries and the absence of Musiala, the Belgian coach clarified: "We are going through a difficult situation due to injuries, but there is no room for complaints. In the Champions League, we should not look back, but we must move forward."

He added: "We have played in some matches this season without Jamal Musiala, and we managed to find creative solutions to compensate for his absence despite the difficulty of the task. I trust all the players available, and I do not wish to reveal details about the lineup."

Regarding the strength of Inter Milan, Kompany spoke about his Italian opponent, saying: "Inter is a very organized team, capable of playing in various styles, whether in counter-attacks, build-up play, or even set pieces."
