Conceição: We Are Not at Our Best, But We Want to Win

Sergio Conceição, head coach of AC Milan, spoke about the recent loss against Napoli and his preparations for the upcoming match against Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

Conceição said: "I'm not the happiest person in the world after these setbacks, but we know we have many matches to improve ourselves."

He confirmed the team's readiness for the anticipated match against Inter Milan, stating: "We have beaten Inter this season, and we are prepared to continue our winning streak. We know they are a strong team, but we want to win."

The coach revealed the team's condition, confirming that Loftus-Cheek will return to Milan today after leaving the hospital following an appendicitis, with the rest of the players ready for the match.

He added: "We need to win the Coppa Italia because it's the quickest route to Europe; we must focus on the next match."

Conceição commented on the performance of Santiago Giménez, saying: "His scoring in training is a positive sign; he needs time to adapt to Serie A."

The Portuguese coach responded to discussions between João Félix and Kyle Walker, stating: "These are normal matters among players."

Regarding Rafael Leão, he said: "Leão is one of the best players, but he needs consistency to achieve better results."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "We are focused on winning day by day, and it starts with overcoming Inter Milan in the semi-finals."
