Comment by Wadi Degla President on the Reduction of Al-Ahly's Penalties
Majid Sami, the president of Wadi Degla Club, commented on the Clubs Association's decision to reduce Al-Ahly's penalties after their withdrawal from the match against Zamalek.
The Clubs Association decided last Sunday not to deduct an additional 3 points from Al-Ahly at the end of the season, and to only impose financial fines on the club according to the regulations, in addition to confirming Zamalek's victory in the match with a score of 3-0.
Majid Sami said via Facebook: "Amending the association's decisions regarding the summit match will ultimately be the step that leads to the cancellation of the Premier League this season and perhaps the dissolution of the association itself."
On another note, today Al-Ahly will meet Al-Hilal of Sudan in the first leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals, with the match kicking off at 9 PM Cairo time.
