Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, star of Real Madrid, suffered a minor muscle injury while with his national team in the UEFA Nations League, leading to his exclusion from Belgium's match against Ukraine.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, Courtois is experiencing a slight muscle strain, and his absence from the match was a precautionary measure to maintain his readiness.

Despite the injury, the Spanish radio confirmed that Courtois is expected to be fit to participate with Real Madrid in the upcoming match against Leganés, scheduled for Saturday, March 29, in the Spanish league.

Regarding his stats this season, Courtois has participated in 36 matches with Real Madrid across all competitions, successfully keeping a clean sheet in 10 matches.
