The match was previously postponed due to the death of Barcelona's doctor, and both clubs suggested holding it on May 21 to ensure all players' availability, but the Spanish Football Federation rejected the request, leading to complications regarding the return of international players.

According to Cadena SER, the Uruguayan national team may allow Araujo to return to Barcelona after the match against Argentina on Saturday, especially since the coaching staff led by Marcelo Bielsa does not see him as essential for the match against Bolivia, which takes place at a high altitude of 4000 meters above sea level. If this happens, Araujo will be available for the Osasuna match to strengthen Barcelona's defense, given the injuries to Inigo Martinez and Kounde.

Meanwhile, the situation is entirely different for Rafinha, as the Brazilian federation refuses to let him go due to the importance of the match against Argentina. Nevertheless, the player has expressed his willingness to travel immediately after the match on Wednesday morning, but the timing is complicated, as he will only have 40 hours before the Osasuna match, making his participation uncertain due to fatigue and the time difference.
