Marca: Spain Got the Heist of the Century from the Netherlands
Friday 21-03-2025
The Spanish newspaper Marca reported today, Friday, that the Spanish national team has pulled off the heist of the century from the Dutch national team, as it described.

The newspaper did not mean the Spaniards equalizing in the dying moments against their Dutch hosts in the first leg of the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

What it meant was the joining of young center-back Dean Huysen, an outstanding player from Bournemouth FC this season, who made his international debut with the Spanish national team.

The player had represented the Netherlands at youth levels until last year, as he recently began representing Spain, and last night was an exceptional occasion as he represented the senior Spanish team for the first time against his home country.

Huysen, who is tall, is considered one of the most important young defenders in the world and is on the radar of several clubs, especially Real Madrid.

Despite being only 19 years old, he has played for several clubs in different countries, having played for Malaga in Spain, Juventus and Roma in Italy, and now with Bournemouth in England.
