Tamer Abdel Hamid said during the "Stadium Al-Mahwar" program: "I was surprised by Imam Ashour's exclusion from the Egypt national team list because he is performing well and his level is consistent with Al Ahly. The change in Nasser Maher's position has caused a decline in his performance with Zamalek, and the player is still affected due to his return from injury."

He continued: "Mostafa Shalaby faced a lot of pressure from the fans, and Zizo was not in his best form against Smouha in the cup match, while Seif El-Geziri missed easy chances."

He concluded his remarks: "Khaled Sobhi is a defender, and his position is not left-back, and the national team is suffering from a shortage in this position after the injuries of Fatouh and Hamdi."
