Indonesia National Team Strengthens Its Roster with a Notable Name
Indonesia's national team has included goalkeeper Emil Audero for the first time ahead of upcoming matches against Australia and Bahrain in the World Cup qualifiers.
Audero, born in Indonesia to an Indonesian father and an Italian mother, has represented all Italian youth national teams, but has yet to play for the senior national team.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is currently playing this season with Palermo in the second division on loan from Como.
Audero has previously played for several prominent clubs in Italy, having been with Juventus, Inter, Venezia, and Sampdoria.
