The head coach of Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi, made important statements to the press following the victory against his rival Monza with a score of 3-2 in the Italian league competition.

Inzaghi said: "Monza played a great match and deserves praise, and we must congratulate coach Alessandro Nesta, but my team was exceptional as well, as we showed strong character and managed to come back despite being two goals down. It wasn't easy, but we recorded the highest number of shots this season, reflecting our strong desire to win."

He added: "We prepare for matches in the same way always, but the succession of matches makes it physically challenging. We need to recover quickly because we have a very important match in less than 72 hours ahead of us."

Regarding the condition of some players, Inzaghi revealed: "Lautaro Martinez was suffering from some fatigue, but there is nothing to worry about. As for Zielinski, he felt discomfort in his calf muscle and will definitely be out for some time."

The Italian coach concluded his remarks by saying: "We are not looking at the title right now, but we are treating each match individually. The important thing is to stay at the top and continue to compete strongly. We owe it to our fans, and we will do everything we can until the end."
