Inter opened the scoring early in the 14th minute when Lazio defender Adam Marušić mistakenly turned the ball into his own net following a dangerous cross from a corner kick executed by Dimarco, which Thuram headed.
The Nerazzurri team doubled their lead in the 34th minute after a quick attack led by Denzel Dumfries, who intercepted the ball and sent a ground pass into the penalty area, which Argentine star Lautaro Martinez converted into the net.
