Saturday 08-03-2025
Al-Ahly Club of Libya officially announced the mutual termination of its contract with its Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman, marking the end of his tenure with the team after 116 days in charge.

The club stated in a post on its official accounts: "The journey of Moamen Soliman with Al-Ahly Club has come to an end. We thank the coach for his efforts and wish him success in his future endeavors."

Soliman took over the leadership of Al-Ahly Libya on November 13, 2024, before the club announced his departure today, March 8, 2025, in a brief stint that did not last long despite the high expectations at the time of his appointment.

In a swift move to compensate for his departure, Al-Ahly Libya announced the appointment of Nasser Al-Hadiri as the new head coach of the team, confirming in an official statement: "Because Al-Ahly remains a home for the loyal, let us welcome our new coach Nasser Al-Hadiri, wishing him success in his new mission."

It is noteworthy that Moamen Soliman possesses significant coaching experience, having led Zamalek to the final of the African Champions League in 2016 and won the Egypt Cup with them, in addition to coaching the Egyptian U-17 national team born in 2013, along with his experiences with several clubs both inside and outside Egypt.
