Al Ahly Benghazi clarify their position on Fatouh and Bencharki

Al Ahly SC of Benghazi has clarified its position on the possibility of signing Ahmed Fatouh from Zamalek SC, after Murad Al-Aqouri, the club's vice president, revealed details of the negotiations that took place between the two parties. He also clarified the truth behind the rumors regarding the club's interest in signing Achraf Bencharki from Al Ahly FC.

Al Ahly Benghazi have confirmed that they have decided to stop negotiations with Ahmed Fatouh, emphasizing that there is no intention from the club to return to negotiations with the player during the current period.

The Vice President of the Libyan club revealed that negotiations with Ahmed Fatouh began in secret, before Al Ahly FC officials were surprised by the official offer appearing on social media, which caused discontent within the club's management.

Al-Aqouri criticized Zamalek's handling of the situation, stating that the club did not approach the offer with sufficient professionalism and failed to maintain the confidentiality of the negotiations. He pointed out that Al Ahly FC has completed 25 deals during the current season with various clubs, and all negotiations related to them were conducted in complete secrecy.

The Vice President of Al Ahly FC has emphasized that his club will not reopen discussions regarding Ahmed Fatouh or enter into new negotiations with him during the current period.

Regarding the existence of negotiations with Achraf Bencharki, a player for Al Ahly FC, Al-Aqouri denied any knowledge of official movements in this regard, confirming: "I have no information about any negotiations with the Egyptian club Al Ahly to acquire the player."
