Former Al Ahly Star: The Match Between Zamalek and Pyramids Will Determine the League Champion
Mohamed Abdel Jalil, the former Al Ahly star, confirmed that the match between Zamalek and Pyramids is the one that will determine the winner of the league title this season.
He stated in television remarks: "Zamalek's request to postpone the match against Modern Sport is unnecessary, and the match will not be postponed, as the team has 4 matches before facing Al Ahly."
He continued: "It would have been better to postpone the Egyptian league match in the first round and hold it after the international break to avoid creating a crisis between the clubs."
He added: "The match between Zamalek and Pyramids will determine the league champion, and if Zamalek wins, Al Ahly will be closer to winning the title."
He went on: "The international break will benefit many clubs, including Modern Sport, and Ben Shikha will get the chance to work and improve the players' performance."
