Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Inter Milan, expressed his happiness with the victory his team achieved against Feyenoord from the Netherlands with a score of 2-0 in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, emphasizing that qualification has not yet been secured.

Inzaghi said: "My players delivered a fantastic performance; it wasn't easy against Feyenoord on their home ground, but we managed to achieve a positive result."

He added: "We maintained our defensive solidity and were organized on the pitch, and we also received fantastic support from the fans, which gave us a strong boost to secure the win."

He continued: "We still have an important match before the return leg, and we must be cautious because there are always hidden dangers, but I am very happy with what we presented today."

Regarding the opponent's performance, Inzaghi said: "Feyenoord is a team with high quality; they decided to play with four forwards today, and we had to adapt to that."

He added: "We studied the Dutch team well, especially through the two matches they played against Milan in the playoffs, but they relied on a different system today."

He concluded his remarks by warning about the return match: "We won the first leg, but the match is not yet decided; we will play the return leg next Tuesday, and we must not forget that Feyenoord scored three goals against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, so we need to be at our best readiness."
