Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Inter Milan, spoke at a press conference before facing Dutch side Feyenoord in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, confirming his team's readiness despite injuries and discussing the strength of the opponent.

Inzaghi said: "We are in good shape despite some important absences. We have worked hard to reach this stage, and we will be ready. We understand the importance of the return match at San Siro, but we also need to deliver a strong performance here as well."

Regarding Feyenoord, he stated: "They are a strong team and have performed excellently in the group stage, having beaten Milan and drawn with Manchester City. It won't be an easy match."

On the lineup, he mentioned: "Certainly, Bastoni will play an important role. In goal, Martinez will play, while Sommer is available but will not participate tomorrow."

When asked about Inter's chances of winning the Champions League, he replied: "It's great to hear that, but it's not the time for talk. We are competing on three fronts, and we need to focus on each match individually. There is no room for talk; we just play."

He concluded his statements by discussing the draw against Napoli, saying: "I don't want to talk about the league before such an important match. We were in an emergency situation, but we gave everything, and we could have handled the equalizer better."
