Barcelona is preparing for a tough match against Real Sociedad, amid many challenges the team is facing, the most prominent of which is the injury of Andreas Christensen, the management of players' fitness, and the importance of achieving positive results in the crucial month of March. In this context, Hans Flick, the head coach of Barcelona, held a press conference during which he discussed many issues, affirming his confidence in his players and their readiness to continue competing on all fronts.

Flick expressed his concern about Andreas Christensen's injury, saying: "I am very happy with the performance of the defense, and we need fit players. Unfortunately, Andreas Christensen has suffered a new injury, and we will wait to see how serious it is. We hope it is not a serious injury. We have great defenders like Ronald Araújo, who has returned from injury and is performing excellently. He has all the qualities to reach the highest levels."

The German coach confirmed that the team is working on correcting defensive mistakes, pointing out that conceding goals is not the main problem, but rather how to deal with the situation during matches: "It doesn't matter when we concede goals; every match we start from scratch. What matters is how we handle the flow of the game and gain the necessary energy. We saw what happened against Atlético Madrid, where we conceded two goals, but we came back well. We must continue to improve as a team."

Flick talked about the development of Frenkie de Jong's performance and Marc Casado's role in the team, explaining: "Frenkie de Jong has developed a lot over the past month. Casado leans more towards the defensive side, but he is a player who can offer a lot. He is performing well, and I am satisfied with his performance in his first season. As for de Jong, he gives us more possession and knows how to handle different situations."

Flick emphasized the need to focus in this crucial month, especially with the intense competition for titles, saying: "We need to focus completely. We are in a good moment, and we must show our quality without fear of any opponent. The most important thing is to focus on ourselves and not get distracted by others."

The coach clarified that he is continuously working with the team to improve defensive performance, confirming that there is noticeable improvement: "We analyze every match carefully, whether we win or lose. Against Atlético Madrid, we performed well at some moments, and it was clear what we needed to do. We are one team, and we always strive to improve and learn."

When asked about his wishes on his birthday, Flick replied in a way that reflects his happiness working at Barcelona: "I don't have any special wishes; I have good health, a wonderful family, and I work at a great club. This is the biggest gift for me."

Regarding Wojciech Szczęsny's future, he confirmed that it is not his prerogative to make decisions regarding player contracts: "I do not make offers to players; that is Deco's and the management's job. What I can say is that we are very happy with Szczęsny."

He continued: "This season is different, and there are many adjustments in training. In some matches, like the one against Valencia, we did not have enough rest, but we performed excellently. There are no excuses; we must always be ready. In some countries, like Germany, the situation is different, but here the schedule is very tight. We have to keep the players in good shape because we are competing in three tournaments."

On the possibility of rotating players, he said: "There will definitely be changes; we need fresh players. I will make some adjustments, but I won’t disclose the names."

Flick concluded his remarks by praising his upcoming opponent Real Sociedad, warning of the difficulty of the match: "Real Sociedad is a very strong team that knows how to defend and excels in ball control. We must be well-prepared for this match."
