Roberto Amorim, the head coach of Manchester United, appeared at a press conference to discuss the upcoming match against Ipswich Town on Wednesday evening, as part of the 27th round of the Premier League.

Regarding the decisions to lay off staff at the club, Amorim said: "The situation is difficult for everyone, as the employees see their colleagues losing their jobs. We must focus on what we can do to help the club and understand the mistakes that brought us to this stage."

Concerning Manchester United's home performance, he stated: "When I took the position, I expected to win all the matches at Old Trafford. The fans are amazing and provide great support until the last moment. We have a new opportunity to tell a different story in this match."

Regarding the status of injured players, Amorim concluded his remarks by saying: "There is nothing new, but everyone is improving, and we will see what happens."
