Javier Tibas, president of the Spanish League League, reaffirmed the rejection of the Barcelona player's registration, in the team's list during the winter transfer period, despite the Catalan club obtaining the approval of the Supreme Council of Sports in Spain.

The La Liga and the Spanish Federation had previously refused to register Olmo, along with Pu Victor, due to Barcelona's lack of compliance with the rules of fair financial play, however, the Supreme Council of Sports and gave the Catalan club the green light to registration of the player.

In comments reported by the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Tibas said: "When I said I hope to register it, that was because I expected Barcelona to solve its problems, since August, they had four months to find solutions, but they waited until the last three days."

He added: "On January 3, the money we requested guarantees arrived, then Barcelona resorted to the Supreme Council of Sports, which gave them a precautionary measure within 24 hours, which raised some doubts, Olmo signed with Barcelona and he knows that his registration may be not possible in December ".

Tibas concluded his remarks, saying: "It is not necessary for Olmo to complete the season with Barcelona, ​​and we have issued a clear statement in this regard."
