The Portuguese club Porto announced the appointment of Argentine Martin Angemi as a new coach of the team to succeed Paitur Bruno, who was sacked after a series of negative results, and Angemi's appointment came shortly after Jose Tavares took over as temporary coach.

Porto contracted with Anslmi for two and a half years, to be the first experience of the Argentine coach in the European continent, and in a statement to him during his presentation ceremony, club president André Villach Bush said: "We are confident that you are the captain that the team needs."

The 39 -year -old Angemmi led the Independent Del Valley Ecuadorian to win the American Cup in 2022, and also achieved success with the Mexican Cruz Azul last year, where he reached the team to the Mexican League final.

Despite the previous successes, Ankilmi was criticized in Mexico for violating the terms of his contract with Cruz Azul and his absence from training before leaving to Portugal.

It is worth noting that Porto is competing with the Egyptian Al -Ahly Club in the first group of the 2025 Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States of America this summer with the participation of 32 teams.

Angemi will have a major challenge in his new mission with Porto, as the team seeks to restore its level and achieve local and continental successes.
