The Spanish League has officially announced today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the list of players nominated to win the award for the best player in January in the Spanish League competition.

The list of candidates witnessed the absence of any player from the Barcelona team, while only one player from Real Madrid, the French star Killian Mbappe, was included, and Atletico Madrid players were absent from the list this month.

The list consisting of five players for the award includes Real Madrid striker Killian Mbappe, Dodi Lukibakiu, the player of Seabila, Kiki Garcia, the player of Deportivo Alaves, in addition to Luis Mila, the midfielder of Getafe and Hugo Douro.

Real Madrid is currently leading the Spanish league table 2024/2025, with 46 points, two points behind Atletico Madrid, which is second.
