Manchester United coach, Robin Amorim, appeared in important press statements before confronting Rangers Club in the framework of the seventh round of the European League.

Robin Amorim explained his controversial comments that the team may be the worst Manchester United in the club's history, noting that his statements were essentially directed towards himself, not the players.

Amorim said in press statements: "I was talking more about myself and not about the players, it is difficult to find a coach who starts his work and loses seven out of ten games, so I was expressing my frustration towards my personal performance more than the players."

He added: "I sometimes feel frustrated and realize that it may not have been better to express this in that way, but this is the truth, but in the dressing room, I spoke with the same ideas but in a different way, and the response from the players was normal because I am always frank with them."

Regarding the next match against Rangers, Amorim said: "We expect a difficult match and a lot of physical strength by Rangers, we know that some of their players are not available, so we will need to get to know the players available quickly, we aim to avoid accessories because it is very important to prepare for the upcoming matches." .

He continued: "The Rangers fans will make a big noise, so we need our fans to be supportive of us to win."

Regarding his previous statements, Amorim admitted, "I am a young man and sometimes I made a mistake in some matters, in the Brighton match, I was tense and I said things I had to say, I cannot promise you that this would not happen again, but I will do my best to improve myself."

And about the difficult times that Manchester United is going through, Amorim said: "Since the first day I learned that we will face difficulties, but I cannot determine how much time this suffering will continue, as all losses are very difficult for everyone in the club."

He also pointed to the great pressure facing the team in the matches at home: "It has become more difficult to play in Old Trafford, we are concerned while playing here, especially with the pressure resulting from bad results."

Amorim explained that he does not completely blame the players for the poor performance of the team, but rather puts the biggest responsibility for himself as a coach>

He added: "We need to improve the small details in the way we play, we are very nervous with the ball, which makes things more difficult, but in the end, I am the biggest responsible for performance and results because I am the coach."

Amorem concluded his statements, saying: "We are facing difficulties, but I take responsibility completely and promise to improve performance in the coming period. The team is ready to work hard, and we need to restore confidence and positive results."
