The Portuguese club Porto announced the dismissal of its coach, Vitor Bruno, from the position of coach of the team, about 6 months after his appointment, and the decision came as a result of the great decline in the team's results in the recent period, as Porto suffered from a series of defeats in various competitions.

The club said in an official statement posted on its website today, Monday: "We announce the end of the Fitor Bruno contract with the club with an immediate impact, and Jose Tavares will be appointed as a temporary coach until an agreement is reached with a new technical manager."

Vitor Bruno took the technical leadership of Porto in June 2024 with a two -year contract, succeeding Sergio Konisao, who left the club after 7 years full of achievements, of which 11 titles, but the team's performance under Bruno's supervision was not at the level of expectations, especially after the successive defeats against Nacional. Jill Vicente in the Portuguese League, in addition to leaving the League Cup after losing to Sporting Lisbon.
