Arteta: What happened is unbelievable, and Jesus' injury is not good
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta appeared in press statements after losing on penalties to Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.
The coach said: “It is something Unbelievable. Obviously you measure the performance and what we did in terms of the situation, you know, you deserved to win the game by a big margin, but the reality is that we were knocked out.”
He added: “I love my players "My team, I love our team and I love how good they are and what they do because in 1,000 games, you have to lose a game and maybe this one. You have to understand that too, it's part of our industry and our game and moving forward because you don't have time to do that because on Wednesday we have a huge game."
He stressed: “It is football and it is part of it. You need things to go your way and that did not happen tonight.” When you go to penalty kicks, you know It's just luck and you can go in “Any direction.”
He explained: “It is an incredible team. I am very proud of my players. I love my players and I could not be prouder because it is very difficult to ask for anything other than the performance they gave there. You have to get the ball into the net and then you have to hit the opponent, that is the reality.”
On Gabriel Jesus being out injured: “There is no update but it does not look good. He was in a lot of pain and had to be taken out on a stretcher and he did not look well.”
