Zamalek club officials are awaiting the decision of coach Christian Gross regarding whether or not to extend the contract of Tunisian Hamza Mathlouthi.

According to press sources, the Zamalek administration has decided to postpone the contract. Mathlouthi’s contract was extended, based on the desire of Gross, the team’s coach, who requested this in order to follow the player from the field, after he missed participating in the previous matches after sustaining a bruise in his chest ribs.

The sources indicated that Gross warned the Tunisian not to pay attention to the rumors about his departure and his exit from the technical accounts due to lack of conviction in his level.

The sources explained that the Zamalek coach was a student of Hamza Mathlouthi. He did his best in group training and he will get his opportunity to participate in the matches and not to rush to participate in order not to lose his focus.
