Al Ahly Defeats Zamalek 3-0 in Egyptian Premier League
Al Ahly team succeeded in achieving a significant victory over their rival Zamalek with a score of 3-0 in the match held this Friday evening at Cairo International Stadium as part of the fifth round of the title-deciding stage of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly's goals were scored by Ashraf Bencherki in the 18th minute, Hussein El Shahat in the 32nd minute, and Bencherki again in the 74th minute.
The match saw Zamalek awarded a penalty in the 54th minute, but Hossam Abdel Mageed was unable to score.
Al Ahly also received a penalty in the 66th minute, and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet failed to score it as well.
As a result of the match, Al Ahly's tally rises to 47 points, placing them third in the league's championship group standings, while Zamalek's tally remains at 50 points, maintaining their position at the top of the standings.
