Ayman Hefny, the former Zamalek star, sent a message to the Zamalek players ahead of the anticipated match against Al Ahly in the league.
Hefny said on Facebook: "The key to achieving the most coveted title... fight until the end, and behind you are knights in the stands... God willing, the league will be yours, for you are the champions and the most deserving of the league, oh Zamalek."
Cairo International Stadium will host the top match between Al Ahly and Zamalek this evening in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League title-deciding stage.
The match will start at 8:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
