The Tunisian club Sfaxien announced the termination of the contract of its Portuguese coach Alexander Santos by mutual consent after a series of negotiations between the two parties. This came after the deterioration of results with the team, which prompted the club’s management to take this decision.

According to IFM radio reports, an agreement was reached that included granting Santos financial compensation equivalent to his salary for a period of four months, in exchange for terminating the contract between the two parties by mutual consent.

The report indicated Santos showed great flexibility in the last hours of negotiations, taking into account the difficult financial circumstances that the Tunisian club is currently going through.

After Santos’ departure, Oliviya Beran, coach, took over. The club's youth team, the task of temporarily leading the first team in two decisive matches against Stade Tunisien and Esperance in the Tunisian League.
