Former Al-Nasr player: Al-Ittihad team is weak
Mohsen Al-Harithi, the former Al-Nasr player, believes that Al-Ittihad will not continue at the same level throughout the league.
Al-Harithi said in statements to the “V90” program on Saudi sports channels: “Last season, Benzema was not satisfied with the team, and this matter was clear to everyone.” So he called for big changes, and this is what happened.”
He continued: “Benzema succeeded in changing the team’s situation when he contributed to Attracting the French, starting with coach Blanc Aouar (who has dual French and Algerian nationalities) in addition to Diaby, made it easier for the players to get along quickly, and the absence of injuries to Kante and Fabinho contributed to the improvement. Team stability."
He added: "The problem of Al-Ittihad is in the defense line, which suffers from many changes and the inconsistency of names in every match."
He explained: “Local players also played a prominent role in Al-Ittihad’s emergence at this level. There is a clear improvement in the performance of most of the players, and Al-Aboud has begun to focus on the field only, and this is evidence that things are positive within the club.” p>
He concluded: “But for me, I still see that the Union is weak and is not able to continue at the same level throughout the league, and perhaps this will appear in the future.”
